A core part of the work of Education for Reconciliation is the development of teaching and learning materials on the themes of reconciliation by participating teachers, pharm and the project team. The resources are designed to provide teachers with ways to cover the key concepts and statutory requirements of CSPE and Local and Global Citizenship. They have been written and piloted by and with classroom teachers. They use active learning methodologies throughout and place a strong emphasis on not just learning about reconciliation and related concepts, pills but also on realising them through active citizenship.
This page also includes Citizenship Education resources produced by the CDU. While written for CSPE, the southern specific details are easily adaptable for use in Local and Global Citizenship.
All of the CDU resources are available in hard copy from the Curriculum Development Unit (p&p only) or can be downloaded directly from the website.
